Winter Wedding Photography Discounts For Minneapolis/Saint Paul Extended!

Kristen and I are happy to announce that we are extending our Winter Wedding Discount program for the 2011-2012 winter season!  We will be continuing to offer 30% off our shooting/coverage fees for all our off-season weddings taking place from November to Mid-May.  That’s an average discount of almost $800.  This includes April!  The 2010-2011 November – February season filled fast last year, with almost every date being 3-4 months out, so now is the time to give us a call!

Hi Mary! Thanks for the comment. It’s on the riverfront in Minneapolis. Hope everything is great with you and Justin! Oh, btw, Kristen has a new obsession with Minis after seeing a client’s four door Mini.

Our 100th Wedding! Megan and Ryan in Saint Paul, MN

April 30th, 2011, Kristen and I photographed our 100th wedding together!  It was an absolutely amazing wedding too.  We decided to do an extra long blog post for this wedding.   Enjoy the photos!

WPJA Award Winning Photograph, 2010 Q4

While, we were initially disappointed with 20th place in the “humor” category, it’s hard to complain when there were over 24,000 entries in this international contest.  This picture was from a really fun moment at Lisa and Matt’s wedding.  I tried to find a creative way to photograph the dance.  We grabbed the obvious shot, and then I started looking for guest reactions.  The difficulty came when trying to fit both reactions and the event itself in the frame.  While we can use a series of pictures to tell a story, we usually prefer to tell it in one photograph.  This shot ended up being the winner.

This is epic. I LOVE how he is covering her eyes.. will be a fun picture to show her when she gets older. As if she’d have remembered it otherwise. :) Congrats on being in the top bazillionth percent! 20th place is amazing amongst over 24k entries!

INSPIRATION: Flowers – Hyvee Floral

Hyvee Floral in Marshall, MN did an awesome job on Miranda’s purple and white flowers. Here’s a few pictures of the bouquets. I love the mix of flowers they used.
