Megan and Joseph’s Wedding
Horseshoe Bay Golf Club, Egg Harbor, Wisconsin

Date: September 18, 2010
Ceremony Location: Horseshoe Bay Golf Club Beach Club, Egg Harbor, Wisconsin
Reception Location: Horseshoe Bay Golf Club, Clubhouse, Egg Harbor, Wisconsin
Wedding Dress: Priscilla of Boston
Caterer: Horseshoe Bay Golf Club
Band: Big Mouth

Since Megan and Joseph live in Chicago, we didn’t get the opportunity to meet them before the day of their wedding.  After only a few minutes of hanging out with Megan and her bridesmaid, it was easy to see that she was a sweet friendly girl who was deeply in love with her soon to be husband.  Joseph is a fun, sometimes silly guy who wasn’t afraid to show his true feelings for Megan when he saw her walking down the aisle.

After a touching ceremony, and a delicious dinner, guest were asked to join the bride and groom outside in the big tent for music and dancing.  The Big Mouth Band entertained everyone with great music and a packed dance floor.  What a fun day! All the best to Megan and Joseph on your new marriage.

Robert and Katie’s Wedding
Columbia Manor

Date of Event: September 25, 2010

Day-of Coordinator & Decorator: Laura Mullen Event Design
Wedding Dress: Eighth Avenue Villager
Ceremony and Reception Location: Columbia Manor
Officiate: Reverend Paul Varoni
Caterer: Prom Catering
Band: Café Accordion Orchestra, Southside Aces
Cake: Bravo Bakery, St. Paul MN

Like most of our weddings this year, Robert and Katie were a lot of fun to spend the day with.  Robert is a talented musician and a member of the Southside Aces, who provided the New Orleans Jazz music that graced their reception.  Their New Orleans inspired second line was a unique and fun addition the their ceremony, and the subject of this WPJA award winning photograph.  It was also a pleasure to work with Laura Mullen, of Laura Mullen Event Design.  While a lot of planners can keep your day organized, most of them are a little stiff, and aren’t very much fun.  Laura was a blast to be around all day though, keep everything running on track, and created some of the beautiful details below. Robert and Katie are also some really awesome dancers, and finished the evening showing of some great swing moves!

Bridal 2011: Blizzard, mishaps made for a memorable wedding

I’ve heard other stories from the day about photographers and other vendors who decided not to show up for weddings scheduled during that storm.   That’s horrible.  We drove from Lakeville, to Elk River, to Moundsview and back that day.
