It’s always fun when a couple is genuinely excited about being photographed. Whenever we meet up with a couple to shoot their engagement session, i always asked them if their excited to be photographed. Some typical answers to that question are; “I guess, kinda, um, well not really, or just flat out no.” Stephanie and Allan on the other hand were more then ready to be the center of attention for the next few hours. Perfect!

As we all walked around the Mill City area we chatted about their upcoming wedding day. It was totally obvious that both the bride and groom are ready to enjoy the day that they have been planning for so long. I love how laid back and fun Stephanie and Allan are and I know that will help to make their big day all the more wonderful. We are really looking forward to hanging out with you again this September!

P.S Aren’t Stephanie’s wedge heels just too cute for words?! Love them!

This is one of David’s favorite weddings of the year. The ceremony was held at the stunningly beautiful and 122 year old First Congressional Church of Minnesota. Large staid glass windows lined the outside wall, casting a beautiful light throughout the church. The reception was held at the very classy 317 on Rice, and Rice Park provide a great landscape to get some great shots of the couple and wedding party.

Congratulations to Dan and Melissa! Best wishes as you begin you life together.

Annalee and Angelo were such a delight to work with! We actually got the opportunity to shoot both their wedding ceremony and reception here in MN, as well as their New York reception party. The Basilica is a beautiful location for a wedding and Annalee was absolutely gorgeous she walked down the long church aisle towards Angelo.

Since they were also going to be having a reception party in New York, they opted for a personal sit down dinner at the Cafe Lurcat for their MN reception. It was a small cozy venue, and Angelo said it perfectly when he said, “If you are here tonight, it’s because you hold a very dear place in mine and Annalee’s hearts.” The evening was lovely and elegant as family and friends enjoyed the Anna and Angelo’s special night.

We met up with Carrie and her bridesmaids at St John’s Catholic Church in New Brighton, MN during the early afternoon. The bride was just pulling up to the church when David and I arrived.  The church was absolutely gorgeous! I can understand why Carrie had to reserve the church over a year ahead of time for their wedding.

The traditional Catholic ceremony was beautiful, and Carrie looked absolutely stunning in her wedding gown with the long train and lovely details. It seemed that neither Carrie nor Rob could stop smiling during the entire ceremony.

After a perfect “I Do” kiss the limo took the entire bridal party to a beautiful garden on the University of Minnesota campus in Saint Paul for some pictures.

After the garden it was off to the reception location. The reception was held at the Radisson Hotel in Minneapolis. The cocktail hour gave guest time to chat with friends and family before dinner was served.

After dinner and cake, the music and dancing began.  Carrie and Rob looked perfect as they danced their first dance together as husband and wife.  After the first dance, the floor became full with everyone doing the twist.  It was a fun night, and we wish Carrie and Rob all the best!

Sunshine and Joshua said, “I do” at the lovely Garden Room in Eden Prairie. The beautiful Garden Room offered the perfect setting for their early evening wedding.

Market Flowers did an amazing job of putting together some breathtaking floral arrangements for the ceremony! It truly was a joy to work with Sunshine and Joshua. Best wishes to them.
