Bethany and Benjamin met each other in Taiwan in 2005 while they were both a part of a team of teachers who taught English to students in rural elementary schools. In Bethany’s own words, “it wasn’t love at first sight,” but fate had a little something else in mind. After a year in Taiwan they each moved back to their home states of Minnesota and Virginia. After a three year long-distance relationship they tied the knot.
Bethany and Benjamin had a lot of friends that helped out with the big day. In fact they had friends from all over the world come to help with the cake, bouquets, and other important details. No matter how much commotion there was during the day, Bethany and Benjamin’s love for each other was evident in a big way! Every time they locked eyes their whole face would light up. We really got to have a lot of fun after the reception when we all went to down town Fargo for a post wedding photo shoot. Bethany and Benjamin were such good sports and so much fun to work with.
