“When Pigs Fly!” – That was the statement Jennifer used for when she would get married. Although she may not have set out to marry, the wedding day was perfect. Jennifer and HJ had been together for years, so a big traditional wedding ceremony is not what they were looking for. The ceremony at Marjorie McNeely Conservatory’s Sunken Garden was short and touching, with a relaxed “family” feel.
Like most of our clients, Jennifer and HJ weren’t looking for a lot of formal photos, so after a few quick family photos in the Conservatory, family and friends made their way over to the Ranforest Room. A delicious buffet-style dinner was served through out the evening, and the open bar had guests enjoying themselves. One of the highlights of the night was a guest appearance by a penguin! The little guy wandered around his fenced in area while guests could ask questions and watch his handler feed him fish. The young kids and older kids (David included!) all loved the extra surprise at the reception.
